The easiest way to understand a message before opening it is by checking the code at the end. 🔹 Follow below steps at work and see the results in 6 months or the year.

🔹 Rule 1: Never be late to office

✔ If you don't show up at work, who else would for you?
👉 Arrive on time and leave on time.


🔹 Rule 2: Check your emails and messages on Teams and respond at the earliest

✔ What happens when you do it first? It gives a signal to the manager that you're working on it and taking charge of things at work.


🔹 Rule 3: Take complex problem tickets/emails and respond

✔ What happens when you do this? It triggers the leadership and accountability attitude in yourself, which will lead to better decision-making at work.

✔ If you see an email asking for an update or about something you're not aware of, take it. This is where you develop a curious learning strategy.

📌 Example: You receive a request to check access or find logs. Even if you're not sure how to do it, don’t wait for your team or colleague to take over. First, acknowledge the request.

✔ If you see something broken, report it immediately, before it comes back to you and you go blank.

✔ Even if it is a small task, like forwarding to other teams, do it. This demonstrates proactiveness and shows you’re actively monitoring emails and work processes.


🔹 Rule 6: Ping constantly about issues on Teams/Slack to draw attention

✔ This gives you prompt acknowledgment from stakeholders.

Report, mitigate, fix, and release the RCA.


🔹 Rule 7: Send a last-minute email of any issues or findings you want to bring to the team’s notice

✔ This gives the team a clear picture that you take complete charge of your shift.

✔ Even if it is small work or minor details, communicate them. Communication is the key to success.
